Castle International have helped our long-standing client Swan to successfully launch the world’s first Alexa kettle. Swan are one of the UK’s best-loved and most innovative homewares brand, with a long history of releasing revolutionary appliances – including the very first electric kettle all the way back in 1933.

The launch of the Alexa kettle represents an exciting new stage in Swan’s ongoing quest to bring the latest technology and most up-to-date designs to Britain’s kitchen counters – and it’s an understatement to say we’re thrilled to have played a part.

We have proudly supported Swan’s marketing activities since 2018, covering everything from a full-blown web redesign to organic social media strategies and hugely successful PPC campaigns. But this latest launch is without doubt the most exciting moment yet in our ongoing partnership.

The Alexa kettle is a true game-changer, letting you pop the kettle on without having to set foot in the kitchen – or even being at home at all! The options on offer range from setting an exact temperature to keeping the kettle heated for up to two hours in case anyone needs to top-up, all just by asking Alexa. And that’s not all: customisable routines let you automate the first boil in the morning or your mid-afternoon break, saving you time and energy every single day.

To help deliver a successful launch for the Alexa kettle, we supported Swan in building a compelling multi-channel campaign designed to capture customers’ attention across a diverse range of platforms and marketing channels. Our involvement ranged across the full spectrum of technical and creative domains, from getting the product set up on Amazon for its initial launch to helping build and deliver engaging and highly converting social ad campaigns across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. We also leveraged our extensive network of affiliate and influencer partners to help get the Alexa kettle in front of as many people as possible.

And we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Our coordinated approach reached millions of prospective customers, touting the significant benefits of the first-ever Alexa kettle and helping to drive significant sales figures. The launch also received extensive coverage in mainstream outlets, including Metro, The Sun, and Tech Advisor. It was even featured on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, one of the UK’s best-loved prime-time TV programmes!
