Case Study | How Castle Helped PharmaPac

PharmaPac

How did we help pharmapac?

The Proposal

Operating from an MHRA accredited facility, PharmaPac has become a significant turnkey solution provider, that fill solids, semi-solids, liquids and powders into a diverse range of packaging using state-of-the-art machinery to support the unique requirements of some of the largest pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare and veterinary companies in the world.

PharmaPac Ventures is a sister company to PharmaPac UK Ltd. which brings quality products to market in the rapidly developing electronic cigarette, NRT, and novel nicotine delivery technology industries.

While this client wanted the same things to happen for each arm of their business, it was made clear to Castle that these entities were to be kept separate and distinct from each other in case of any perceived impropriety or conflict of interest in the companies’ products.

Our clients’ websites were both outdated and didn’t clearly outline what the company did, they had a poor Google performance rating and they felt that the brand and logo was holding them back from new markets.

It was decided that a fresh corporate image would reflect better the products and services of both organisations.

The Process

The first thing we needed to do was outline and produce a range of conceptual designs for the Pharmapac logo before agreeing on brand styles that reflected effectively the needs of both sites, one built around the ideas of authority and trust.

Castle then built a user-friendly site that boasted a high level of configurability and integration capabilities (including Facebook, Google and Instagram logins) with an advanced, powerful search engine, including the ability to search with category tags.

Our web development team also incorporated into the content management system a range of enhanced features such as:

  • An innovative search facility which strips back the high visibility headings sections
  • The ability to share all news items, spreading influence
  • Relatable articles, meaning site visitors stay longer, increasing conversion rates
  • A secure comments section
  • A Megamenu facility through hover

We also commissioned professional photographic images of the production site, product labels and headshots of key staff members with the aim of showcasing services and products as well as building brand trust. This was not a straightforward task due to regulatory issues and care had to be taken with many of the images regarding sensitive material, ensuring syringes or other medical apparatus were not being included for instance.

To help develop Pharmapac’s corporate global sales, Castle was also asked to create a presentation pack, together with new business cards and digital signatures on all company emails.

Why GEO Matters More Than SEO in 2026

GEO is the shift from ranking on Google to appearing in AI generated answers. Instead of competing for a place on a results page, brands now compete to be included in the single response people receive when they ask ChatGPT, Meta AI or Perplexity a question. If AI cannot understand who you are, which market you serve or why you are credible, you will be excluded. GEO fixes that by clarifying your identity, removing digital noise and training AI models to recognise your expertise. It is the difference between being discoverable and being invisible in 2026.
